Survey of Cambodian public opinion (February 2013)
The survey was conducted nationwide on a sample of 2,000 Cambodian people from 12 January to 2 February 2013, by the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS). Around 75.60 % of the respondents felt that the country headed in the right direction due to construction of more roads and schools whereas 24% said that it was moving in the wrong direction by pointing out to more corruption, followed by illegal immigration and nepotism. The people became less positive when compared to the previous studies in 2008 and 2011. Drug use was listed as the main concern having impact on Cambodia the most.
