Key success factor of special economic zone for Thailand

The purpose of this paper is to identify the key factors in the success of Thailand's Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The authors use mathematical modelling and analyse 11 variables in order to get their result. Variables include foreign direct investment, GDP, high-technology, research and development, and exports. The authors provide background on the SEZ and rationale for its development. After analysing the success factor,s they offer thoughts on the future of special economic zones for Thailand.
