Report on constituency dialogues in Cambodia (2010)
The constituency dialogue is similar to that of a town hall meeting and anyone is welcome to attend. Moderated by experienced NDI staff, the forum opens the floor to between 300 and 1,000 citizens who raise questions and voice concerns directly to their constituency representatives, members of the National Assembly. From January to September 2010, NDI held 24 constituency dialogues in 12 provinces with multiparty representation in the National Assembly: Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, Kampong Thom, Kampot, Kandal, Kratie, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, and Takeo.
