Name Summary report on observation and assessment of the political platform's implementation with definite indicators by the government and elected officials in the 4th legislature
Description

The Royal Government of Cambodia for the 4th mandate, making of the total 249 members, was established on 25 September 2008 by the supporting vote of the National Assembly, 94/94 votes in absence of the opposition parties, Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) and Human Rights Party (HRP). The government's 48-point political platform was implemented through its integration into the "The Rectangular Strategy II for Growth, Employment, Equity and Effectiveness". However, out of these promises, COMFREL only found 10 points with clear indicators, which is subject to a study of this report. As a result, the committee found that only 5 out of 10 points were achieved by the government ruled by Cambodian People's Party (CPP) while it remained questionable in terms of its quality by some observers and analysts.
