Summary report on organization of the 2013 national elections in Cambodia
This report aims to summarize the organization of Cambodia's national elections taking place on 28 July 2013. Since the National Election Committee failed to provide official election data such as the total number of identification documents serving for the election purposes and documents on the total number of invalid votes, the summary report mainly relied on studies of independent organizations including NICFEC, NDI, CAS, COMFREL, LICADHO and TI Cambodia. It was found that, many election irregularities in the 2013 national elections remained without solutions; some eligible Cambodian citizens were rejected their rights to vote in the election day, the use of identification documents serving for the election purposes still continued, and the total number of voter was higher than that of the eligible citizens.
