Summary report on the implementation of the government's political platform in the 3rd mandate (July 2004-July 2006)
The summary report is aiming to assess the government's performance against its promises during the election campaigns and political platform for the third mandate, with a coverage period of from July 2004 to July 2006. In the first 18 months since its establishment, from July 2004 to December 2005, it was found that only 5% of the political platform with clear indicators were completely achieved while 80% was partly accomplished and the remaining 15% was lacked behind. By July 2006, 30% of the political platform with clear indicators was completely achieved but 70% was just partly accomplished. Other issues that were in need of the government's efforts included a speedy work on the establishment of the major national institutions such as national committee for human rights, special courts, land reforms and a fair and equitable access to the economic growth.
