This webpage capture shows about the workers again protested in front of the closed hotel to demand the owed compensation which the Arbitration Council had awarded them, but which the hotel's owner had refused to pay. A Ministry of Labor spokesperson asked workers not to protest, saying the dispute would be settled the following week. The outcome was on May 30, the Labor Ministry paid 120 workers, with 32 still to receive money. Those who had not been paid were told to take their ID card, staff ID card and NSSF card to receive payment. By June 1, almost all had been paid, with the exception of 12 who were outside Phnom Penh or had not taken the required ID. By June 7, all workers except an Indonesian national had been paid. The Indonesian national said he would travel to Cambodia to receive payment once the situation allowed.
