Environmental protection obligation

Socio-cultural protection

The 230 kV transmission line project will affect 1,318 households in 3 provinces, 7 districts and 19 communes. The study on compensation costs varies from region to region and from village to village. The company will have a plan to deal with these affected plots of land and dwellings, with compensation based on actual costs. According to the results of the compensation, the company has settled for the people in Kampong Speu about 22 percent, Sihanoukville 100 percent, and Koh Kong 100 percent.
