vulnerability-assessment-of-climate-risks-in-the-lower-songkhram-river-basin-thailand

This study seeks to understand household and community vulnerability to floods, droughts, and seasonal shifts in Thailand's Lower Songkhram River Basin. The assessment is one of three exploring the potential consequences of climate change on wetlands communities in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The Thailand objectives were: 1) to document the frequency and intensity of floods and droughts, and record perceived changes in these patterns, 2) to identify the impacts of floods and droughts on rural livelihoods, 3) to identify local coping strategies, and 4) to consider the viability of current coping strategies under changing climate conditions.
