Eastern Special Development Zone Act B.E. 2561 (2018)

This Eastern Special Development Zone Act is regarded as an official launch of EEC Project. This Act aims to engage in clear and definitive land use planning that is appropriate for the nature and potential of the land as well as in line with the principle of sustainable development; to engage in the synchronized integration of the civil infrastructure and public utilities within and outside of the Eastern Special Development Zone; to engage in urban development to enhance the modernity of the cities in order to meet the international standards of land used for residential and commercial purposes; to provide one stop government service; and to grant rights and benefits specifically to Special Economic Promotional Zone Operators.
