Operations manual for the implementation of article 6 of the Paris Agreement on climate change in Cambodia

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) signed an authorization on 14 December 2024, allowing the Minister of Environment to launch the Operations Guidelines for implementing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change in Cambodia. This initiative will enable the Ministry to mobilize resources from carbon trading for environmental and social funds. The operations manual has been developed through collaboration between the Ministry of Environment (MoE) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). This manual will support an increase in financial flows for the priority projects of the relevant ministries and institutions.
