The purpose of this law is to ensure the exercise of the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Cambodia over natural persons in order to determine the right to acquire and the right to relinquish Khmer nationality for individuals who reside in the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia or abroad and who satisfy the conditions of this law.
