On the morning of October 22, 2025, the Sihanoukville Provincial Administration moved to suspend the production operations of a leather processing factory belonging to KUBON (CAMBODIA) BIOTECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. in Samaki commune, Prey Nob district, after the provincial authorities had repeatedly advised the company without compliance. The suspension of this leather processing factory's operations is implemented in accordance with Letter No. 4822/0625 dated June 13, 2025, from the Ministry of Environment, and Letter No. 447/25 dated October 21, 2025, from the Sihanoukville Provincial Administration.
