This Prakas aims to regulate banking and financial institutions and companies engaged in the business of exporting, importing precious metals and gems to be considered as currency. Banking and financial institutions or companies wishing to engage in the business of exporting and importing precious metals and gems must apply for a license from the National Bank of Cambodia to export and import precious metals and gem.
