Communities and carbon: Establishing a community forestry-REDD Project in Cambodia

A report on the establishment of the Oddar Meanchey REDD project. The initiative, Cambodia’s first such project, is enabling the communities of Oddar Meanchey to safeguard their forests and, in the process, generate funds from the sale of “avoided deforestation” or REDD carbon credits on the global market.
