Guideline for operation and maintenance of sewerage networks

This Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Guideline for the Sewerage Networks is an updated version of the “Wastewater System Operation and Maintenance Guideline” formulated and published by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) in 2018 with the support from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). This updated version focuses solely on the O&M aspects of the separate and combined sewerage​​ networks. This updated guideline on sewerage networks O&M retains the relevant sections from the previous version and adds additional sections based on feedback from the stakeholders. This is a live document that is expected to be updated once every four years based on feedback from the stakeholders and practitioners. The document would also be updated based on the changing technology landscape of sanitation systems in Cambodia.
