Informational Basis of Policy Judgments: The Case of the Royal Forest Department of Thailand

This report presents a preliminary analysis of policy formation in the area of forest management in Thailand. Despite its remarkable record of industrialization and economic growth, the country still has a large agricultural population that is in daily interaction with the natural environment. This study examines the role of information provision in such policy decisions.
